Alexa was nervous in her home, knowing that she had lied to Derrick about being on her monthly period and using it as an excuse not to visit his family's house. She was with her friend, Agnes, so she decided to phone Derrick again to apologize and assure him that she would be visiting his mother the following weekend.

"Hello, Alexa," Derrick answered the phone call as he saw Miranda waiting for him. She was a new acquaintance, and instead of her going into the hospital by herself to get her medical checkup, she was standing there, waiting for him like he's her husband.

"Good morning, Derrick. Happy Sunday to you," Alexa said, speaking to Derrick in a sweet tone.

"Thank you," Derrick replied, and he told her, "I will give you a call later. I went out with someone my mother asked me to accompany to the hospital."

"Oh!" Alexa gasped.

"I hope the person's health isn't serious?" She asked him, not expecting that he had a sick person with him.

"No, not really. Just a regular check-up. Talk
