chapter 32

I had a surprisingly decent night.

After Cane showed me the way to the garden, I'd stayed there for about an hour.

The garden was magical. I've been watching it through the window in the open kitchen and I'd thought it was beautiful. But that view made no justice to beauty of the garden.

The circular sitting area in the middle of the garden was straight out of a fantasy book. It was surrounded with different colored flowers and small light, which made it a delight to sit around.

The garden was so refreshing that it made me want to sit there the entire night. But knowing how I was warned, not once but twice, to not walk around the Mansion by myself at night, I had to go back in to the Mansion and really call it a day.

But, I'd promised myself that I would come back the next day, which was what I'd planned to do the second I woke up.

Elijah wasn't in bed, as always.

I took a quick shower, tied my hair at the top of my head, dressed in the usual most covering clothes I had including a
