He stares at Ryder with a smile across his lips, seeming so happy to see his son as if it's been so long since they have seen each other.

Ryder says, before stepping forward, and stretching his hand out to shake his dad's. I don't know how the hell that's comfortable with them, but it feels weird that he's shaking hands with his Dad.

Zayn says, before he withdraws his hand, and goes in for a hug with Ryder hesitating for a little before giving in, wrapping his arms around his Dad.
