Chapter Twenty-two: Some questions.

 DAWN.

I gulp in as the maids drags trays of food to the dining while I slowly take a seat beside Ryder, staring across the dining room.

It looks so huge, and I'm sure it's bigger than my room back home at my aunt's.

Speaking of my Aunt, I hope Bryan and others have already informed her that I'm fine, I can't stop thinking about what Bryan said concerning her landing a complaint at the station if I don't make it back home today. Too bad I won't be able to make it back home today or anytime soon either.

I know that she would have tried to call me several times after that call with Bryan which is why I purposely turned off my phone. I just don't know what I'm going to say to her if she calls, and I pick it. What will I say? Where do I say I am? I don't have it in me to lie to her anymore, that's something I have been doing for ages and also, besides they are going to find out about everything soon in the news.<
