"Really. I'll jump down. There's a garden on the rooftop. I can jump from there."

The four bodyguards still didn't react. They were really tough. Her stubbornness won't work on them.

"I'll burn the penthouse, and then I'll run. I'll blame you for the fire. I'll tell Gideon it's your fault."

They still didn't waver, so she began to stomp her foot. " Just let me! I'm just going to visit my family. Come on. I'll tell Gideon later."

Her big smile was almost ready when he noticed Emer scratching his head and nodding to the other bodyguards. But her supposed big smile was ruined by the next thing the man said. "We'll just bring your mother and brother here."

"What?"

"You’re really not allowed to go to them."

"You keep saying the same thing. Why am I prohibited from visiting them?"

"It's dangerous, Ma'am," the man with the shades replied.

"I also feel dangerous with you around. You're even wearing shades even though it's not sunny," she said irritably, standing up from the floor.
