THE doctor allowed Gideon to be discharged after two days. His wound was properly stitched, and she, as his wife, just needed to make sure that he would take his medicine. According to her Mommy Gerona, she had to remind Gideon repeatedly because he didn’t have the habit of taking medicine. It was like his body was immune to bruises and wounds.

"I'm going back to my internship tomorrow. I've been absent a lot because of what happened," she informed her husband while they were riding the elevator. They were alone now because her mother had reopened her store. Meanwhile, Caius and Carollete had gone back to school, and Summer was also back in school.

"I can give you a direct A," Gideon said, which made her scowl.

"Do you want to end up in the emergency room?" Gideon laughed in amusement, which earned him rolling eyes from her. "You know I don't like shortcuts."
