Chapter 41 (Part 1)

AFTER being done with her last flight that day, Lyzza decided to visit Gideon at his office. It had been two weeks since he was discharged from the hospital, and he was back at work. This morning, he invited her and Summer to have lunch outside.

Cleo was not at his table when she checked on him. She knocked on the door of Gideon’s office, but no one from inside answered. The door was locked when she tried to open it.

"Ma'am," a passing employee called to her. "Mr. Vesarius is not there. He left in a hurry earlier. He was with Sir Cleo. They're probably going to check on the airplane that malfunctioned."

"Thank you," she said, nodding and giving a small smile to the woman. "I'll just call him."
