CHAPTER 100

After having lunch I took the dishes to the kitchen and cleaned them, returning to an empty dining room.

Where did he go?

I made my way to his room and it was empty too. I sighed before making my way to his home study. I placed a knock on the door and pushed the door open when I heard him say come in from the other end.

I met his eyes as I walked into the room closing the door behind me. This was actually my first time coming into his study, it was usually off-limits.

“I knew it! I knew this was too good to be true.” I say folding my arms.

“What was?”

“You coming back home earlier than usual. I should have known you’d still come here to work.” He merely nods at me as he darts back at his laptop’s screen. “You work too much and you should be resting, whatever you’re working on can wait till tomorrow when you’re at the office. Do something else, do something fun.” I suggested but William didn’t look away from his laptop’s screen but I know he heard me.
