Bailey’s p.o.v

“It was quite expected.” The stranger replies, smiling at me.

“Are you also having problems? Is that why you’re here at the beach?”

“No, I actually came here with my boyfriend.”

“Oh,” I say nodding. “ You can get back to him and enjoy the rest of your night, I’m good.”

“He doesn’t mind," he replies, looking down briefly at his phone. “And I can spare a couple of minutes talking.” He says before glancing in the direction where his boyfriend was before turning his attention back to me.

“Thanks,” I mutter with a small smile, he nods at me tapping my shoulder.

“I’m James.” He introduces himself.

“I have to say, your guy is quite stupid.” He remarks and I shake my head letting out a laugh.
