CHAPTER 128

I got bored, so I wandered off and found myself on a basketball court on one of the floors of the building. I walked further in, picking a basketball off the rack.

“You play?” I heard William ask and spun around on the ball of my feet, dropping the ball. I picked it back up and looked at him, noticing that he was leaning on the door with his arms folded.

“Can you stop acting like a ninja? And to answer your question, no, I don’t play, do you?” I ask and he shrugs, not answering as he walks into the court fully. “It’s a yes or no question.”

Still, he doesn’t reply. Instead, he takes the ball from me and throws it, I turn watching as the ball glides into the hoop with such precision.

“You’re joking,” I comment with my mouth agape before quickly shutting it. “You never did say anything about basketball, you said you were in a rugby team so how are you good at basketball?” I ask huffing as I walk over to pick up the ball.
