CHAPTER 140

After bawling my eyes out for God knows how long, I timidly got up, wiped my eyes, and tidied up the kitchen, I poured away the batter and washed the bowl and pan Mario had been using before exiting the kitchen, I walked over to his room and started removing all my belongings like he had asked me to do.

I walked into my closet changing into a jean and a long-sleeve shirt.

I was heartbroken and I needed to get away for a bit even if it was just a day so I could forget all that happened today. Deep down I knew it wasn’t possible to forget but I just had to leave.

I picked up my bag, putting my phone and card in it before putting on my Crocs and exiting the house. I walked further down the road to the closest bus station which took me ten minutes with how slow I walked.

I boarded the bus, tapping my bus card, and walking down the bus to a window seat at the back. The bus began moving as I rested my head and glanced out of the window.
