CHAPTER 141

I sat on the couch in the living room with a plate of toast as I scrolled through the TV stations in search of what to watch. Shayna was in her room working, she decided to spend the day with me but first she had to work for a couple of hours with her laptop first before she could do that.

She walked out of her room door stretching as she came to flop on the couch beside me, I gave her a side glance “So, are you done?”

“Hey!” I exclaimed, flicking her arm. “I made yours, they’re in the kitchen.”

She groaned, throwing her head back as she munched on the toast. “You should have said that before I sat down. Now who’s going to go all the way to the kitchen to get them?” She asks, groaning again for emphasis.
