Kevin sat lazily on the bed after dropping his stick. He cocked his head and stared at Karen who had an angry and confused look on her face. He couldn't control his laughter.

"Is this some kind of joke?" she asked again, more firmly this time.

"No," he answered, sitting up "What is, is the divorce papers you saw earlier today."

"What?"

"They're fake," he answered "I did it because I wanted to know how Selene really feels about me. It looked like she doesn't love me but I didn't want to believe it so I decided to come up with fake documents to see.."

Karen felt a great relief when she heard him say that. So great was that relief that she let out her emotions and began to cry. At first, she tried to suppress it but Kevin was more able in hearing than sight.
