Chloe Exhilarating. That was the only word I could use to describe what it was like to be flying on the back of Finn’s dragon. The wind was blowing through my ponytail. The stars appeared to be close enough to touch, and the view of the forest and academy grounds spreading out beneath us was just breathtaking. Chloe I nodded my response, a small whimper of need releasing from my throat. I was more than ready for him. His hands grabbed the hem of my shirt and began lifting it up my torso, his fingers grazing my sides as he raised the fabric higher. My arms lifted without a thought, and he pulled the shirt up and over my head, dropping it carelessly to the floor. Juniper Two weeks after the disastrous day that was my birthday, Drew, Myles, my dad, and I had finally settled into a comfortable routine with our training. Drew could finally let me out of his sight for over 30 minutes without experiencing raging anxiety. It helped that we discovered we could mindlink, and my dad said, unlike a pack link, which only works within certain distances, it’s more like a link between mates, in which you can reach each other no matter the distance. We reached the widest part of the stream, and without even communicating our plan, I used my magic to help Drew leap over to the opposite bank of the stream, and he continued running into the more dense part of the pack forest. Drew I dried my hands and walked around the counter, my eyes focused on her form sitting on the couch, reading something on her phone. “Hey, baby,” I murmured to her as I wrapped my arms around her from behind the couch.
