Chapter 8: The Pain

Caleb was still holding my hand, but he did not move closer to me. I want to ask what he is doing, but I could not stand the cruelty he had earlier. It is too much for me to experience these things. Is this how a new adult is doing? Am I going to lose something in this room?

I never had a boyfriend and never experienced love. Before my imagination got wild, Caleb let go of my hand. He walked to the door and opened the light.

“You can sleep here for the night. Don’t go out even if you hear a loud bang or noise downstairs.” He commanded. I nodded and looked away.

I overreacted and thought he would do something terrible to me. I sighed and stretched my legs. “Ouch!” I screamed, feeling the pain in my veins flowing on my neck and shoulder. The scars gleam and black veins appear on it. What is happening to me?
