Chapter 25: Trapped In Danger

Steve senses the smell of danger, "These few people won't be of much help. They'll probably end up getting beaten up with us."

He says to Prisley, "You should go now. It doesn't look like I can hold them off for long."

Prisley smiles confidently and looks at the group of burly men approaching the door and waving at them.

In an instant, they form a solid wall between Prisley and the rebellious men. Steve finally breathes a sigh of relief.

It turns out that Prisley has already contacted a security company and hired dozens of bodyguards to help seal the account books.

Looking at Steve's sweaty face, Prisley laughs, "Don't worry. Everything is under control."

"Good job! You had it all worked out arranged in advance?" Steve asks.

"That's what I've been busy doing."

"They thought I didn't know anything about engineering and tried to pass the buck. It's true that I don't know it, but I can find a professional team."

"The audit hasn't started yet, but I bet the rats have their hands full."
