Wrong Affection

Author's POV.

Damien gazed at Roman and had the urge to fulfill the words he said at the mortuary, but people were around them and it wouldn't be respectable or polite to start a fight in a funeral.

'You chose the best time to come here, you scoundrel. But the day you try this in a more private place. I'm gonna fuck you up,' Damien thought, before looking away.

The funeral was carried out and people began to leave one by one. Fortunately, Elise was ready to leave, unlike the day they laid their daughter to rest.

As they proceeded out of the cemetery, Damien heard footsteps behind them.

Hearing Roman's voice made anger surge terribly through his veins. He was on the verge of losing his temper and punching Roman in the face.
