Chapter 37

The next day, Ava woke up and she remembered everything. She knew she was drunk but not to the point of wasted. Every action that took place the previous day was willing and consensual and she felt like complete shit because of it. Well of course she did, she had sex with one of her clients, and a client who was getting married no less. She had no idea what came over that day and why the fact that Casey kissed her suddenly sprung up in her mind but now there was no turning back from what she had done.

Casey was gone, as one would expect. It was the morning of the wedding but Ava was in no rush to get up since it would be held in the evening. She wondered what was going through Klaire’s mind when she decided to have the bachelorette party the night before the wedding. But it was a relief that the wedding would not be in the morning or she would have surely missed it.

She and Casey stayed up for most of the night, into the morning, she
