FINALLY, after a four-hour straight kidney transplant operation, I was able to get some fresh air. Successful ang operasyon. Mino-monitor na lang ang pasyente at hinihintay magising.

It's been seven years since I started participating in this kind of major surgery and until now, hindi ko pa rin maiwasang hindi ma-stress thinking if it was really successful or not. It had always been my priority to do the best that I could to save lives.

Tumambay muna ako sa balcony na nasa ika-ninth floor ng building. Walang masyadong tao roon at medyo maganda ang tanawin. Napapangiti ko pang dinampot mula sa bulsa ang phone at nagmamadaling tinawagan ang number ni Mina. I badly wanted to know what the pregnancy test result was. Kahit positibo ang isip ko na may nabuo na nga kami ni Jen.

"Sir, negative daw po eh."

"What?" dismayado at hindi makapaniwala kong tanong.

"Iyon po ang sabi ni Ma'am Jen, Sir Jass."

Napabuntong-hininga ako. How come it would be negative? I always made sure na buong-bu
