A Hunter's Code

"What are we going to do, Karen?" My brain was already out of ideas so I throws the question to her before she could ask me.

Before Karen could open her mouth, the boisterous fire drill sounds preceded her. Everyone in the room immediately reacted to the drill and rushed out of the office at the speed of light.

I believe one of the werewolf hunters pulled the fire drill. To make sure no one could see us getting killed.

When those employees realize the entire building has been surrounded by police officers outside, everyone, even those on the next floor above us, rushed outside.

And it confuses me when they all manage to get out of the building without having any complications, without being blocked by the invisible wall. Does that mean the invisible wall was already gone?

Karen was about to follow the humans in rushing outside but her body bounces back as I noticed two werewolf hunters are patiently waiting for us to get out.
