"Dude, can you just drop this obsession with the new owner of our school?" Jackson uttered. "I mean, all of us are already occupied facing the monsters in school and the streets day and night."

"Jackson's right, Melvin." Simon agreed. "If Mr. James was an enemy, he would probably not waste his billions to buy the school to continue Draku's prophecy. If I were him, I'm gonna use the money to build my own pack. And besides, nobody knows if he is an alpha."

Simon's statement somehow gave me something to doubt. Indeed, I, for one, don't know if Mr. James is an alpha. We don't know what he can and cannot do as a werewolf.

Either way, my wolf could not sense something massive and overwhelming power similar to Alpha Draku or any alpha that I know of in New Orleans.

However, the only thing my wolf sensed about him was this dark aura surrounding him. His bouncers or security guards who kept following him everywhere he went were scarier compared to his wolf.
