After the doctor had finished patching me up, he ran a few tests, but told me that it was all routine. Though I doubted that sticking a sharp thing that he called a needle into my arm and taking blood from me was routine, I sighed, steadily being carried back to the strange room they continued to leave me locked in. Why must they treat me this way? I wasn’t a danger to them or anyone else. I was just a wolf when the moon was full, not all of the time like some others from the village, I couldn’t change at will; to do so took a great skill, one that I never possessed.

“You oddly quiet 627. What is the matter? Missing your alpha?” James mocked, opening the part of the wall that allowed you to enter what I believed to be my cell.

“Yes.”, I responded sharply, crossing my arms as he placed me onto the floor.
