It happened

The full night came upon us and there I sat waiting for all of this to end , even though I knew that it might be the last thing that would ever happen .

I didn’t know exactly how to feel at this moment but I know that I felt weird that I was chained to a tree waiting for my fate .

Just some days ago , I was the most respected girl ever in my town , not thinking I would get into some barbaric ritual , but here I was chained to a tree , starved for three good days and waiting for my date with the fear of the unknown .

The whole place was kind of lively as most of the girls chatted to stop the awkwardness in the place but I wasn’t interested in this conversation .

I had so much going on in my life already , I just wanted this to end , so that my life could go back to normal , I just could not wait .

My mom was having twin babies , both boys. I just can’t wait to see them , I just wanted to be the best big sister that I could ever think of to them .

“So what do you think is going to happen next ?”

I turned and saw a blonde looking girl looking at me .

I didn’t need anyone to tell me that she was trying to have a conversation with me , but I wasn't having it .

I pulled my head away ignoring her .

“ you stupid pathetic I bitch , is it the way you feel that you are more better than us that never seems to amaze me “

“ if you are that special then you shouldn’t have been tied to a true with a black gown and starved for three days like the rest of us , you should have just stayed back and no one would do anything but girl , you aren’t any special and that’s why you are being tied to a tree like a bitch , you are no better than us , I think you should always remember that .

I was pissed beyond doubt , the guts the girl had to speak to me .

If it weren’t for my parents , I would not be in this situation today .

I was about to reply to her , but just as i wanted to , the whole night instantly went dark .

It was as if the moon disappeared from the sky .

The place turned to instant chaos as everyone of them stampered to get out of the placed they were chained to.

I stayed calm a bit but just immediately , the moon came up again , but this time , it was pure silver .

The silver moon was upon us , the ritual had started .

I watched each of the girls panic trying to break away from the chains that were tied to their hands .

I tried her best to be calm as I could see everyone here , but my heart was thumping hard on her chest .

I thought that the light was coming from the moon , , but when she saw everyone running for their lives , I turned and that was when I met the greatest shock of my life .

There was a monster standing on top of the hill directly under the moon .

It was a human in an animal body , it had a muscular body covered in fur , sharp claws and fangs and its eyes were shining brightly in dark brown .

I felt the chills run down my spine , it was the monster, the monster was here to kill us .

I heard the chains of most of the girls breaking off and so did mine , but due to the shock , she couldn’t move , but instead she stood rooted to a spot .

Everyone of the girls ran away into the woods trying to run away from the monster .

I turned and saw the monster staring directly into my eyes .

The shock on me instantly disappeared and I dashed into the bush for my life just like everyone else .

I didn’t want to be the unfortunate one .

I ran deeper into the wood move than I could ever Imagine .

All i could think of was how to run away from that monster creature that i had just seen ,

My heart was thumping so hard against my chest , I felt like I was going to pass out from running too much .

From where I was . I could hear the screams from all the coner and getting to a spot , I saw a dead girl on the door with her head ripped off .

I jumped over the dead body and ran deeper into the woods .

Thinking about my mom and siblings , I wanted to return back home if that was the only thing that I could do .

I saw a tree right in front of her and without hesitating , I jumped on the tree and climbed up .

Climbing on the tree was an easy task but with the fear of the unknown , I climbed on it without hesitation.

When I had gotten to the top , she smiled trying to ease all her thoughts that were lurking around her head .

That was the most scary creature that I had ever seen in my entire life , I could never forget about it that easily .

She rested her head on the tree branch as she tried to catch her breath .

I knew that I was definitely going to get away from this ritual , there was no way that I was going to let myself get killed over this .

I closed my eyes and just as I opened them , I felt a pair of brown eyes staring directly into my soul .

I tried my best to stop myself from hallucinating but when I closed and opened them again , I knew that I wasn’t hallucinating .

The monster was just on the tree beside me and was staring directly into my soul .

I didn’t know if I should cry or scream , but then I felt a hard bang on my head , that was it , I passed out .
