No matter how much I tried to convince myself that it might be a hallucination, my instincts insisted that I had actually caught sight of the queen. It made me wonder, what was she doing there? Could it be that she had come to spy on me? Was she working with the enemies again? Or had she come to check up on me? My mind was troubled, the possibilities surrounding her appearance were many, and I hoped none of them were connected to working with the enemy.

I've done my best to convince Magnus that she wasn't a traitor, he had promised to tone down her punishment a little. If she was working with the enemy again, then there was no redemption for her this time around.

I moved on from the possibilities of the queen being a traitor and focused on the possibility that she might have had people with her. And what if they had spotted me? There was no way I was going to let myself get kidnapped a second time, being sold to Kal Fang was not something I desired.
