CHAPTER HUNDRED-NINE

Lisa stared at her mother waiting for an explanation, "I asked you a question mother, what demon are you talking about, who killed Sarah?" Lisa yelled at her mother rage evident in her tone

"Veratora of course, I made a deal with her, and she took Sarah as payment!" Elena mumbled nor realising what she had just said because she was overcome by grief, Lisa crawled further away from her mother, staring at her with fear I herf eyes.

"No that can't be true, mother you wouldn't do that" Lisa said as she tried to wrap her head around what her mother had just confessed, her mother sacrificed her own daughter to a demon for a wish.

In fear and disgust, Lisa ran out of h1er little sister's room heading for the servant quarters trying to get away from her mother so she could wrap her head around what her mother had just confessed.
