After making sure everyone was okay, Stephen walked over to Adam who was helping one of the guards.

“Thank you for saving me after I lost my senses” Stephen said briefly.

“you don’t need to thank me” Adam said as one of the other guards took the injured guard off his hands so that he could talk to Stephen properly , “no I need too thank you, I could have died, if not for you, so I will say it again thank you but I have one question what are you”.

‘I’m part demon, it’s a long story” Adam shrugged, Adrian approached them his clothing was a mess.

“Thank you” Adam said as Adrian nodded.

“You proved yourself today, maybe you are trustworthy after all,” Adrian said as other soldiers came into the throne room to take the fallen soldiers out of the room so they could be given proper burials because most of them were orphans and didn’t have family to give them the burial they deserved.

Thorne’s body was also dragged out of the throne room by the guards left before the maids came in to clean up
