He lowered his head and gently pressed his lips against hers. He sensed her reluctance, her anger, so he took it slowly, teasing and pulling tenderly at her lips, careful not to lose control with her because he needed to take it slowly in order not to push her away from them with his impatience. His hands caressed her luscious curves, which had captivated him since the first time he saw her. As he deepened the kiss, a deep rumbling sound arose from his throat, sounding somewhat like a growl. When they returned to the cabin, Serena excused herself to go take a shower because she needed time alone to collect her thoughts. Will her alliance with Queen Ella and Prince Stephen truly help her exact her mother's revenge on Queen Elena? Will they also assist her in bringing down Thorne, who has a connection to Queen Elena? He approached her and placed his warm hands on the waistband of her skirt. Serena moaned at the contact of his hands against her skin, making him grin at how responsive her body was to him. He reached for the zippier on the skirt, slowly pulling it down, letting his fingers graze her skin as the zippier went down. The skirt fell to the floor, and he reached for her hand to guide her out of it before picking it up and throwing it on the nearest surface. Serena stood motionless, watching him slowly remove and discard his shirt before returning his gaze to her.
