Prince Stephen walked into the kitchen to find one of his favorite people in the world, Sophia, cleaning up before she went to bed for the night. His happy gaze was drawn to the small petite woman, who is 5' 0" tall, has olive skin, light blue eyes, a heart-shaped chin, thin lips, small ears, and a button nose. Stephen had thought she looked more like a fairy than a witch because of her thick, platinum blonde hair. Hunter informed Queen Ella and Prince Stephen when the location gem was ready, and they both planned to visit the east by the end of the week. Saturday arrived sooner than Queen Ella and Prince Stephen expected, so they went to the east. When they arrived, they were greeted with surprised looks from the servants and guards, which was to be expected because Queen Ella had not been to the east in ages and Prince Stephen had not been to the east in over thirteen years. They were both taken to the waiting room so Queen Elena could be informed of their arrival before being taken to the throne room to see her. Two days later........... "My Queen, we're all set to go find the girl." Talia said as she knelt in front of Queen Elena, who was sitting on her throne. "All right, leave now so you can get there before midnight and have the element of surprise."Queen Elena gave the order and Talia rose to her feet "Yes, my Queen," Talia said as she left the throne room, and they began their journey from the east to the territory of the Red-Moon Pack. Adrian was unaware that Talia had betrayed him yet again. Talia and her men waited in the shadows for one of them to leave the castle so they could attack and capture Serena, while Adrian was to be brought in alive or dead; it didn't really matter, but Thorne preferred him dead. "How do you expect me to believe you? When I'm unsure of how to verify your identity, warlock," Serena inquired, hoping to find a way to flee and return to the cabin without him following her. "You shouldn't be afraid of me because if I wanted to hurt you, I would have already done it." Serena's anxiety was not alleviated by Prince Stephen's statement. "I can't go with you because someone is expecting me to return, and if anything happens to me, it won't end well for you," Serena said, hoping to scare him away. "Oh I know, I don't want to cross him, so your protector Adrian can come with us. My Aunt just wants you to be safe." Prince Stephen tried to reason with her, but he didn't blame her for not trusting him; he was a stranger after all. He lowered his head and gently pressed his lips against hers. He sensed her reluctance, her anger, so he took it slowly, teasing and pulling tenderly at her lips, careful not to lose control with her because he needed to take it slowly in order not to push her away from them with his impatience. His hands caressed her luscious curves, which had captivated him since the first time he saw her. As he deepened the kiss, a deep rumbling sound arose from his throat, sounding somewhat like a growl. He softly bit her lips as a small moan escaped her mouth as he drew her closer, his hand moving to her hair, pulling but not too hard that it hurt. Serena responded by opening her mouth, allowing his tongue to explore her mouth, eliciting small moans from her. He then broke the kiss, allowing them to breathe, his desire filled eyes meeting hers. "What do you know about Adrian?" Serena asked before Adrian could respond, a smile spreading across his little protective mate's face. Gosh, how did he get so lucky? Adrian thought as he took her hands in his, gently squeezing to show him she was grateful for asking on his behalf. "You finally chose to speak, I thought you were going to make your mate do all the talking," Queen Ella said with a smile on her face, "you truly look like Tiara, you're like her exact copy which is not biologically possible." Serena jokes, but Adrian knows it wasn't a joke; her statement had a double meaning. When they returned to the cabin, Serena excused herself to go take a shower because she needed time alone to collect her thoughts. Will her alliance with Queen Ella and Prince Stephen truly help her exact her mother's revenge on Queen Elena? Will they also assist her in bringing down Thorne, who has a connection to Queen Elena? Because Adrian, too, needs closure for what Thorne did to him and his pack. Serena let out a small sigh as these thoughts passed through her mind. As she stepped out of the shower, she wrapped a clean towel around herself. Maybe she shouldn't be concerned; everything will fall into place if it's meant to be. Serena left the bathroom and went into her room to change into something more appropriate.
