CHAPTER 114

Selena made her way into the V.I.P infirmary that morning before 7:00 am to check on Ethan. When she got in, Ethan looked up from where he lay on the bed.

"Hey." He called weakly before looking down again, probably out of guilt.

"You doing okay?"

"Yes." He raised a hand. "I'm stronger than I look."

"For someone who stood up against an Alpha, strong is an understatement."

He shook his head. "When I did what I did, I thought I was right. I wanted to vent my anger on everyone. I tried to take off my mind the fact that I had caused my loved ones to die. But then, I realized, I was just too weak to face my fears. So they kept chasing me and torturing me."
