CHAPTER 87
Selena unmounted her horse and walked towards the palace with a heavy heart full of rage and pain. She knew in her heart now that she had been deceiving herself. If she was to think of it, Alex has never really confessed that he loves her. He has never professed his love with passion for her. Maybe she should have been worried about that and not gone about seeking his validation.
Is that all everything she has done had been about? To seek his approval? She hoped not. And she didn't think so. Deep within her, she knows she cannot get mad at him for long.
As she climbed the steps and went on to the huge building supported by pillars, she heard hushed voices just by the left. Who are those in the guest room? Could it be her Father? Why will he be there? Not like he is coming to spend some days with them. She walked up to the door after dismissing her maids.
