Chapter Eleven

Peter's Pov

Mrs. Charia's call for help had me running toward their room and as soon as I opened the door, I saw Alpha Ryder pouncing aggressively on her. It didn't seem right and I had to fight fir her instantly, pushing him away from her and telling her to run. As soon as she ran, a huge hand pushed me to the wall and I would have almost hit my head if I didn't have fast reflexes to stop it on time. I looked up to see Alpha Ryder groaning furiously, panting like he had just lost a prey and it was because of me. His dark eyes narrowed against me.

I slowly stood up still staring at him. This wasn't Alpha Ryder. He would never treat his wife like that, as I walked closer, my eyes widened recognizing who this monster was.

"Ryker!" I growled angrily.

This was why I was prohibited into coming into the room since he arrived from the hospital. This was the person Charia had been indoors with...and she doesn't know it is not yet husband. He definitely hurt her the first day her hand
