42. Annabelle

ANNABELLE .......

I shuffled off the bed and walk to the bathroom to have a warm shower.

After taking shower I made my way down to his office to find him. It was Sunday but my husband was still working in his house.

I stopped at his office but don't find him there. So I walked to the hallway and see him there with Stella , Emma, and one more girl whom I don't know. It seemed like a private conversation.

So I turned with a sigh and walk away. Not that I could say he was doing anything but it annoyed me seeing him with them.

Am I jealous?

I walked back to his empty office room. And stood near the big window. I looked at the scenario through the window pondering about my life.

"It wasn't a private conversation."

His voice startled me and I immediately spun around to find him standing right behind me.

How did he know what I was thinking in my mind when I saw him with them? Did I say it out loud? Or does he mind reading?
