I was glad that Nerissa was taking care of the kid Elijah. But I was sad too. I thought they would make a scene after knowing about the child. But everyone seemed like him. Nerissa and Shanaya were playing with the kid in the garden when I went down for breakfast. It broke my heart seeing that scene. How can they accept him so easily? What about me? I was feeling like an extra there.

“Don't feel sad, Dear. They are just playing with the baby as there was no baby in this house after Shanaya.” It was Dad who stood beside me. I turned my head to look at him and it pained me to see him smiling looking at them.

“Why don't you join them? You wanted a grandchild, right. Look there, your grandchild is playing with your family. You should also have fun. Don't mind me.” Saying that I turned to walk away.

My heart clenched painfully making it difficult to bear. I was going back to my room when I heard a maid saying, “Good Morning, Alpha.”
