61. Beginning of Destruction

It was nine o'clock at night when Jared was driving back home. Suddenly someone came in front of his car and almost bumped into his car. He immediately pushed the break. His heart was racing when he looked ahead but the person was fine. So he got out of his car. Before he could shout at the person she came to him asking for help.

“Please, help me. Some goons are behind me. They want to kill me. Please save me.” She held his hand and pleaded. Jared looked up to find those men looking for her here and there. They had guns in their hands so it would be foolish to mess with him. To save her he hid her inside his car.

“Get inside and hide. So that they could not see you.” She nodded while her whole body was shaking with fear. He closed the door and was going back to his seat when one of those goons asked him.

“Hey, Mr. Have you seen a girl passing by here?” He turned to him holding a calm posture.

“Was she wearing a white dress?” His face lit up hearing Jared.
