59. Last Day In Bali

ALESSANDRA……

As the first rays of dawn gently filtered through the curtains, a soft glow began to illuminate the room, casting a warm hue over the familiar surroundings. The world outside was still and quiet as if holding its breath in anticipation of the day ahead.

Slowly, consciousness stirred within me, like a distant echo gradually growing louder and clearer. Thoughts began to form, drifting hazily through the remnants of dreams that lingered at the edges of my mind.

With a soft sigh, I felt the weight of sleep lift from my limbs, one by one, as if awakening from a deep slumber in the depths of a forest. Each muscle stretched and flexed, as if testing the waters of reality, confirming my return to wakefulness.

Opening my eyes, the room came into focus, the colors and shapes sharpening into clarity. The soft glow of the lamp on the bedside table, and the gentle ticking of the clock on the wall—all greeted me like old friends, welcoming me back to the realm of the waking world.
