CHAPTER-11 Scoundrel

AURORA

The morning arrives quicker than I expected. The ray of sunshine peeps through the glass window and disturbs my sleep.

I open my eyes half and blink two-three times to clear my vision. I snap my head and see Levi covering most of the space in the bed.

He's lying beside me covering his eyes with his hand to block the sunshine which is disturbing him.

I smile looking at him. I shuffle off the bed and move toward the window to unfasten the curtains.

Then I make my way to the bathroom. After finishing my morning chores I come out of the washroom and find him still sleeping but now his hands are not on his eyes.

I walk to the bed and a smile creeps into my lips. I kneel on the floor near him. I look closely at his face. My hands unconsciously move and they land on his right cheek.

My finger caresses his cheek until I listen to a knock on the door. That knock drags me back to reality and I immediately pull my hand back.
