Kayla's POV.

"Alpha Reynolds!!!!" The unexpected knock on the door jolted Alpha Reynolds and me out of bed, causing us to snap our eyes open in shock and panic.

It was still early in the morning, and we were attempting to get some rest despite the fact that we had been busy all night. It was time to rest, only to be interrupted by an unknown person at the door.

Just then, I pulled the bedsheet and realised I was still nude and on the same bed as Alpha Reynolds.

I rushed to my feet, a sensation of urgency rushing through my veins, wanting nothing more than to get clothed and not be caught.

"Kayla, dress faster! We can't be caught!" Alpha Reynolds ordered calmly, but was bothered for a single second.
