Kayla's POV.

"Since you wanted to know who it was that was hospitalized, why don't I take you to meet her?" He urged and before I could say, Jack, Alpha Reynolds had already stood to his feet and walked over to where I was standing.

"Shall we?" He offered as he opened the door, compelling me out of his office.

At this point, I couldn't make a single statement but obey every word. I was sure he wasn't ready and willing to talk to me about the person who was hospitalized, so seeing him act this way raised my suspicions and my curiosity to the core.

Soon, we exited the company and got into his car, the same car he had made me climb out of last night.

Just then, he got into his car and turned to me as he raised his left brow. I wasn't sure what he wanted from me so I looked at him confusingly.

In a swift motion, he leaned in closer again to me, just as he had done late last night. This time, he paused right before my face, our lips so close to kissing each other.
