Chapter Seventeen

Amanda was lost in thought. She was wondering who was on the phone with Mandy, her mother. She couldn't believe that her mother was crying and begging the person on the phone. She was thinking that, whatever that was making her mother cry on the phone, must be a strong thing. She doesn't know how to approach Mandy to open up to her, because she is always hostile to her.

Amanda decided against going to ask her mother, Mandy what the problem was and who was on the phone. She knew that Mandy will insult her, therefore she made up her mind to mind her own business.

Amanda was really so happy that her dad will be returning the next day. She decided to call her father. She informed him that, he should get something for her when coming back.
