Chapter sixteen

Amanda called Mirabel before the closure of work and informed her that she will be coming to her  place after work.Mirabel told her that she can't wait to hear how her outing with Elvis went. After work, Amanda went to Mirabel's place to tell her about her lunch with Elvis. 

Amanda told Mirabel, how  Elvis asked her to be his woman. She went further to explain, how he promised not to break her heart and how he will make other women to be jealous of her. Amanda told her how a stranger paid their bills. She also told Mirabel, how a friend of Elvis admired her which made Elvis jealous and angry. She continued, "I do not know why Elvis was jealous. We are not yet lovers and he is jealous already. I think he is a jealous type and I really have to be careful ."
