CHAPTER 42: ALREADY?

DIONNAH'S POV

A couple of days later and I was sitting in a doctor's office. I needed to know if my baby was doing okay and also myself. It was only a week from the fashion show and the anticipation was taking a toll on me. I hardly ate because my appetite was nonexistent. Sleep wasn't a problem because I wanted to sleep the majority of the days.

I waited for only ten minutes before I was called in to see the doctor.

"Good afternoon Ms. Delaney." The middle-aged man greeted.

"Good afternoon Dr. Evans." I tried to smile but my lips didn't move.

"And how are you feeling today?"

"I'm feeling great actually, the only problem is I don't have any appetite. Not for food or anything else."

"That's quite common in the early stages of pregnancy. Let me check how far along you are so I can prescribe something to help you."

"That would be great," I sighed. I just need to keep this hidden for at least after the fashion show.
