DAELYN’S POV

It was Leona’s birthday next week and I was still yet to decide on the present. I pouted and gripped the pillow harder. It should be easy since I am her best friend but there’s hardly anything that she doesn’t have.

I took a look around the house and I still don’t understand what’s happening here. Why is everyone here and not in their hideout doing their things?

I spotted Natalya and Ms.Darville at the dining table and by the looks of it, they’re arguing again. Ms.Darville is the chairwoman of H&W University. I heard she took over it when she was 25 and she’s very cool. Natalya is our senior at the university and she is also an assassin for the Exodus club.

Julian and Vincent have been sitting across from me on the couch and they were reviewing something. Miss Melany was instructing someone and the layout of Alastair’s mansion lay sprawled over the table. It’s been almost half a day like this but I have no idea what’s going on here.
