The elevators open with a ding. The main lobby is mostly empty as the check-in time is over and the front desk is closed for the day.
Will walks me to a frosted door and uses the room key to scan us in. Instantly I'm hit with the smell of hygiene spray, padded flooring and chlorine. The underground gym and pool is long, stacked with all kinds of equipment, and empty.
I slowly take in my surroundings and eventually my eyes land on Will, "What are we doing? Working out?"
He regards me, his expression soft. Gently he nudges me towards him, and places a kiss on my hair. "I want to show you something."

I awaken slowly. Purposefully slowly. Taking in as much information that I can without betraying my awareness. I knew I was crumpled against a chair. That the left side of my body was in ruin. Saying your in-love with a certain time in the day sounds, at first, quite strange. I started with the leaves. Shaping them, creating the thick density of them when bunched together. Swirling them down into the trunks that support them. The sticks that hold them. My body feels heavy as I wake up the next day. Like very morning since my parents died, I'm awake before the sun, padding into my bathroom as the world is still. I cut directly to the shower, picking the crust from my eyes with each step. The knob is cold under my hand, but I twist it on anyway, waiting as it sputters to life. The water is overly warm but I sigh in relief as it washes over my face. I collect some in my mouth, swashing it around and let it spill down my chin. Three hundred metres away from the main school building was a long, small building situated along the edge of the forest. It was significantly smaller then the school, with frosted windows, a mixture of wood and brick walls supporting a metal roof. Through the double window doors was a heated pool, twenty five meters in length. To my surprise, swimming was a mandatory Friday activity.
