As I get my makeup and hair done, I look at Xavier in the mirror, sitting beside me, and he moves his head from the makeup brush, grunting. “Xavier, be still. It’s not that bad.” I say. “Yes it is. I feel like a girl.” He says, his anger clear in his tone. “Ugh, relax.” I say, rolling my eyes. He eyes me in the mirror and I smile, putting my hand on his thigh. He stays still as the makeup artists does his makeup and by the time I finish getting my makeup done, Xavier’s getting his tuxedo on. Xavier's POV: Me and Dionne are laughing as we talk with other married couples. She’s been making good with other ladies while I’ve been talking with the husbands about mafia related business. I start to get an uneasy feeling, so I look around for Dionne and I see her talking by the glasses of champagne. I wake up to sunlight pouring in through the blinds and the curtains. I stretch and something tells me to look over at the door. It’s open.
