As I get my makeup and hair done, I look at Xavier in the mirror, sitting beside me, and he moves his head from the makeup brush, grunting. “Xavier, be still. It’s not that bad.” I say. “Yes it is. Xavier's POV: Me and Dionne are laughing as we talk with other married couples. She’s been making good with other ladies while I’ve been talking with the husbands about mafia related business. I start to get an uneasy feeling, so I look around for Dionne and I see her talking by the glasses of champagne. I wake up to sunlight pouring in through the blinds and the curtains. I stretch and something tells me to look over at the door. It’s open. Xavier’s POV: It’s been a couple minutes since Dionne hung up the phone. I go downstairs and I see the boys sitting on the couch laughing about something, like always. I walk into the living room, peeking in, and I don’t see Dionne. “Did Dionne come in at all?” I ask, puzzled. “No, not that I know of.” Zeno says. “I haven’t seen her.” Kayno says. “Me either.” Mark follows. “What the hell?” I whisper. “Why, what’s going on?” Zeno asks. “Is something wrong?” “I’m getting that feeling, and I hate that it’s about Dionne.
