If Dalia noticed, it means everyone noticed too- The way I stared at Hera West. I really want to tell Dalia my feelings but something else came out. It was better to tell her of the revenge which has been placed on hold. There isn’t going to be any revenge because the only person I could hope to get information from is tugging on my heart strings.

This feeling is totally new to me. I can’t say if I like it or not. My parents were strong Catholics. They would turn in their graves when they hear of this. The disgust on Dalia’s face was enough to keep my mouth shut. Maybe it would pass away like the others. I want it to because Hera West isn’t someone to be messed around with.

I balled my fist as if that would crush the feelings away. Every one of our meetings had been an awkward one. Either I spilled my drink or I nearly tripped on her. I could never tell her the main reason I looked for her because we always ended up staring at each other.
