28 Dilemma

I was completely broke. I had spent all my money on the showroom and warehouse. The good thing was that I had everything I needed to build sample furniture for the showroom, but I did not have enough to hire extra hands for help. As much as I wanted to call Omicron Liam to loan me some money, I felt he had done enough, and I should sort myself out. The man had been responsible for me since the age of four. Most people in my parent's pack believed I was dead. He had cared for me as if I were his own, and my life had been easy. If it weren't for my involvement with Ruby, no one knew I was packless. He usually passed me off as a reluctant pack member of his pack, and it was easy to believe because he was rich.

Racheal's joining was the next day, and I still did not feel like going, but I had no choice. Ruby had requested I follow her and even thrown a tantrum when she sensed I did not want to go. For peace and her happiness, I had no choice but to go.

God, every chapter I read my heart breaks more for Jasper. He’s been through so much. Yes - marking her was a mistake, and she had a right to be upset. But she acts like such an ungrateful child. I really dislike her character.
