24: Council

I was on my way to the Council headquarters. They'd been on my neck for two weeks about my appearance in their courts and I'd been avoiding their summonings but it was beginning to piss me off so I just went.

Also, Quinn has been on and on about how we had to avoid the wrath of the council, following the fact that they had been coming after me due to a pack that I had conquered two years ago.

I had even forgotten about it but apparently, they hadn't given up their anger. They felt that I was being “too aggressive, ambitious and unreasonable.”

Bullshit.

They got in my way and I moved them. That's all that it was. But the issue was that the Council hated me and they had an issue with everything I did. Whether good or bad.

But I didn't care. I didn't need their approval to do anything at all. As a matter of fact, I wanted them to even see everything I was doing because it would teach them not to mess with me.
