25: Fake Birthday

“Is that the last of your stuff?” Alicia asked me, peeking her head over my huge like of “Mummy in the Making” magazines.

Dragging my bag of clothes across her clean floor. I nodded quickly, finally happy that we were done bringing all my things upstairs.

Alicia said I shouldn't bother helping her get the things but I disagreed. Even though I didn't have a lot of things, it would be unfair of me to let her bring everything upstairs by herself while I sat with my legs crossed.

We had decided that I should move in with her at least until I delivered the baby. She got worried the last time she was at my house. She even went as far as asking Brenda to talk to me in case I wanted to refuse.

Truth was that I could really use the help at this point. I was feeling very weak and sick and I doubted I could live alone. I wasn't very heavy but I still didn't feel so well.

We collected the remaining money on my lease and then we moved out.

"Are you hungry?"
