“I should get enough men.”

I said. She shook her head.

“We need to move in silence. I don’t want to seem paranoid but not even the elders and the betas can be trusted. It could be any of them. I mean the one leading the attack.”

She suggested. I didn’t want to doubt the people I have been working with since I took over the leadership of the Crimson Moon but I couldn’t overlook what she just said either.

“What do we do? Do you know how many there are?”

I asked. I haven’t fought in a long time but I was still the strongest wolf in the whole pack. No one could defeat me easily, not even if there were five of them but I wasn’t sure of the number of people that were at the place and the elders would probably go into panic mode if they found out what I was about to do. More reason not to let them know.
